Cataract means a cloudy or opaque area of the lens of the eye. Cataracts can occasionally occur in infants, children, and young adults.
For those people interested in wearing or continuing to wear contact lenses, a fitting process needs to take place with periodic evaluation of the cornea (the healthy living tissue that the contact lens sits) and the fit of the contact lens.
If your work, school, or church is interested in an on-site vision screening, please contact our office. Our doctors have provided numerous screenings for local businesses, churches, health fairs, and schools.
A complete exam includes a thorough eye health examination with dilation, as well as refraction, where the glasses prescription is checked to see if glasses are needed or if a change in glasses is needed.
Whether you have been diagnosed with diabetes or not, your complete eye exam will check for this. If diabetic retinopathy is found, this will be discussed with you.
Dry eye occurs when a person doesn't have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. You don’t have to suffer from the symptoms of dry eye.
We have the latest diagnostic instruments at Feidler Eye Clinic, which assist us in diagnosing glaucoma as early as possible. If glaucoma is discovered, then appropriate treatment will be discussed with you.

InfantSEE is a no-cost public health program developed in order to provide professional eye and vision care for infants nationwide.

LASIK is an elective laser procedure that is performed on the cornea to reduce a person's dependency on glasses or contact lenses in the distance.
Our low vision specialist, Dr. Klein, can test for and prescribe aids and devices to help with areas of daily living for patients with vision impairment. There is a wide range of handheld and electronic magnifying devices to suit your needs.
Myopia Evaluations and Management
Myopia is a very common issue throughout the world. While myopia may seem like such a common condition that it shouldn’t be cause for concern, it is actually associated with several very serious conditions that can threaten one’s ability to see. There are a few different treatments for myopia that have proven to be effective in a number of studies. Of course, to ensure you find the most effective choice for you, be sure to visit with your eye doctor so they can review your case and recommend the best options for you.
Vision Screenings are held four times each year, usually one day in January, April, July, and October from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm.
